So many incredible things, but the most memorable part was having the opportunity to meet the Indian people and learning more about their way of life and culture.
This was one of the best holidays we have had, the organisation, attention to detail and thoughtfulness left us completely free to enjoy all the new experiences in a totally stress-free way. We learnt a lot about the culture of Rajasthan (ancient and modern) and also had great fun, lots of laughs and have come home with many many happy memories. Thank you.
The conservation work being done by Ravi Ji at Jagnath Wildlife Safari refuge in Dhawla Village is commendable & the night drive through the wilderness was very rewarding. We also were guests of Pushpendra & his team at the Leopard camp. His passion & knowledge of the local Leopards where to see them, what their habits are, how they move around & their population growth was exemplary. This trip was so good we will be going back. We are Australians -we have 24 million people -in total. Mumbai has 22 million in one city. Our land mass is twice that of India. Tailor India Tours did an exceptional job of looking after the 5 of us -their organisation was flawless. We changed the itinerary a few times & they were more than happy to do that We went on an affordable trip if its 3 or 5 star accommodation no matter where the care & experience will be the same unforgettable.
This is my fourth trip that I have found through responsible travel, and my first trip with Tailor India Tours. It was a fantastic and rewarding experience which I will not soon forget. It really opened my eyes to a lot I did not know about Indian culture and history, and the tour representative was patient to all questions, impassioned to teach about his culture, and flexible to changes and requests. If you are looking for kind people, beautiful monuments, gorgeous temples, and some of the best food you have ever had, Some wonderful memories, I would not hesitate to recommend it to a friend.
Ravindra from TailorIndia Tours proved a reliable and knowledgeable organizer and guide during our 2 week tour through Rajasthan in Nov. 2016 and I have no hesitation in recommending him to others. Rajasthan is very much his home patch and he was clearly well connected across the State and able to devise deliver itineraries meeting the different interests of his Clients. During the prebooking discussions on itinerary and hotels he was always quick to reply and was responsive to our various requests. This was time very well spent and ensured a successful and enjoyable holiday. By the end of the tour we felt we had made new friend in India. Best wishes from Gerry & Uka, Sussex UK Nov. 2016
It is for a good reason that TAILOR INDIA TOUR has its name for it is dedicated to giving the discerning traveller an opportunity to experience the richness of this country in a bespoke rather off the rack generic fashion much of this happens because Mr. Ravi is able to provide a relationship between his extensive knowledge and consultation with the person (s) participating in the tour. More than just places though, this tour offered unique experience in accommodations. From staying in a former princess room (The best suite I will probably ever experience in my life), to a movie set hotel and a nature safari camp-site. Mr. Ravi is able to provide the rhythm to the journey, that prevents too much of one form of experience and not enough of another. This ensures maximum enjoyment, learning and experience of this amazing country. There is so much more that could be written about this amazing visit. Words, however, can never do it justice. Try it for yourself, from the consultation to the responsible interaction with a breathtaking land, you will want new and different tailor made experiences again and again.
After 9 weeks of volunteering, working with children from a very remote area of Rajasthan for the last 5 weeks and living in primitive conditions, I knew I would want a bit of rest + reoperation before returning to my life in U.K. My stay at Jagnath and Sena has more than fulfilled my expectation. I was aware that I would see less wildlife here but to see jungle cat and kittens was special. I was interested to see the tribal village, I was delighted to see clean, well cared for children + well ordered homes. Their lives are undeniably hard but they have a pride in what they do and it shows. Ravi has been an excellent host + I appreciate the time he has spent helping me to understand more about the Indian life + culture as well as his other conservation projects. I look forward to my trip to Udaipur tomorrow and very grateful to Ravi for arranging this. I will try to bring my husband next time.
